Welcome to the 14th Annual Friends of Independence Breakfast!
Our consumers are the reason Independent Living exists and who we are
here to serve;
listening to the stories of their experiences with
disability and societal barriers, and how
Independent Living has
supported them along the way, is a heartfelt reminder of how essential
the work is that Independent Living does.
Independent Living, Inc.’s (ILI) annual Friends of Independence Breakfast was designed to generate
philanthropic support for ILI’s mission and vision. The annual Friends of Independence Breakfast
is a fundraiser,
and the single most important source of unrestricted
revenue for ILI. Funds raised from this event allow us to cover
gaps in
funding, increase awareness about our services, and serve more people
with disabilities in need.
This year’s theme is Disability: A Part of the Human Experience.
Human Experience is a term used to describe the intangible aspects of being human, revealing our inter-connectivity.
